The following are films that DAYSIX has produced and feel best represents our ability as filmmakers. We see every film as an opportunity to not just capture a product but an opportunity to build brand and tell a story. Something that has been engrained in my mind is the notion that "Nobody roots for a product!" SOG // SOG UNCHARTED
SOG reached out to DAYSIX to collaborate on a film centered around the heritage and history of trapping. We really tried to change the standard stigma that comes along with the practice of trapping. The roots of SOG trace back to a military unit in Vietnam where US soldiers were tasked with “Studies and Observations” and nobody “studies” or “observes” wildlife quite to the level trappers do.
PRIME ARCHERY // 2020 BLACK SERIES LAUNCH VIDEO
Introducing the 2020 PRIME Black Series of bows. DAYSIX created this film around the idea of a spot and stalk whitetail hunt right in PRIME's back yard in "Pure Michigan".
PRIME ARCHERY // CT3 BRAND FILM
The concept for this film was to show how fast it was to set up a PRIME bow from delivery to the first hunt. Obviously, it takes longer than a minute but we think we got the point across!
ANGLATECH // FLY FISHING BRAND FILM
The creative behind this video was to evoke that feeling when you step into the river. We went with a fast-paced intro and handheld style to show a man rushing down to the river. Once he hits the river everything slooooooows down!
PRIME ARCHERY // LOGiC BRAND FILM
Ben's first archery harvest is one for the memory books. This film highlights the process after the shot to meat in the cooler.
DAYSIX VLOG // LET THERE BE TRADITION
Out of all the vlogs I have produced this is hands down my favorite. It shows what the tradition of archery is all about. Long-time friends gathering around the sport of archery to create commonality.
PNUMA // WHAT WE WEAR
We were tasked by Pnuma to show the Waypoint jacket and pant in a short 60-sec video that included our favorite features combined with some tasty slomo b-roll.
RAM ARCHERY // LIGHTED NOCK BRAND FILM
RAM Archery gives a portion of its sales back to the cause of conservation. The script we wrote for the video encompassed the thoughts and ideals of the RAM brand. Plus, the voice talent we found was off the charts.
